By external staff, we mean: hiring a person who is not employed by Fontys ICT // ===== Reason===== Within Fontys ICT, there are various forms of external hiring in various deparments. It is necessary to keep track of the finances, follow the correct (Fontys-wide) procedure, and create the correct account (allowing the person in question to perform work). This policy provides clarity about the frameworks we use when hiring external personnel. ===== 1. General frameworks ===== When there is a need for temporary hiring, this is first discussed with the responsible Cluster Manager-Team Manager-Research Group Manager - LT member (hereinafter referred to as the responsible party) with substantiation and, if necessary, a quotation. External employees can only be hired within Fontys ICT after it has been checked whether the expertise is not already available in-house and Planning & Finance and/or HR Fontys ICT have been informed of the hiring. In all cases, an external hiring workflow form must be completed.
