===== Employee card =====

New employees can apply for an employee card themselves. More information about applying for and using the employee card can be found on the portal of [[https://connect.fontys.nl/diensten/IT/handleidingen/Paginas/Medewerkerskaart.aspx|Dienst IT]]. 

The employee card is used for the following applications:
  * For identification at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, you must be able to present the card on request in combination with a legal identification document.
  * Log in to the Canon printers
  * Access, including access to the premises via the barriers.
  * In some Fontys buildings for the use of lockers.
  * borrowing of materials: The employee card makes it possible to borrow materials from the [[https://fontys.nl/HOME-MEDIATHEEK-1/Contact-en-locaties/Mediatheken.htm|mediatric libraries]]
