===== Purpose=====

Fontys ICT aims to develop into an internationally recognised innovation institute. Applied research plays an important role in this. For this reason, leadership team also has room for a Manager Research.   This role is filled for 1 day a week by a (leading) professor.   To properly shape and secure the strategy and content, support for this role is needed.   Both for the internal connection with education ( Programme Manager Research and Education) and externally with the work field and research institutions ( Programme Manager Research and Work Field).

===== Tasks and responsibilities =====

The Programme Manager Research and Education has the following tasks and responsibilities:
  * Ensures the development, implementation and maintenance of (methodological) research quality in research and (preparatory) education including substantive steering for professionalisation in research skills of employees;
  * Develops research-based learning outcomes in alignment with CEs with regard to research skills;
  * Supports PLOOs and PLOUs in the implementation of research skills in education and the integration of research implementation in education;
  * Reports to Manager Research.
