Summary
This page provides information about the use of the annual calendar of Fontys ICT, the list of data of Fontys ICT and the shared Fontys ICT outlook-calendar.
The current version of the Fontys ICT annual calendar is a widely consulted document within Fontys ICT. This calendar is important for employees because it contains factual information about the planning of study programme. This includes data such as teaching weeks, semesters, study days, holiday periods, and public holidays.
Teaching Staff (OP) follows the set school holiday periods. With regard to the conclusion of the academic year, the year is closed when all diplomas have been awarded. The diploma ceremony is the last activity before closing the school year. Even if OP does not supervise graduates, OP will be present at the graduation ceremony. This is based on the idea that the teaching staff is present at the moment that the students he or she has trained for years, obtain their diploma. This means that all lecturers are present, accessible and available up to and including lesson week 21.
The Fontys Educational Year Calendars are made available by the Executive Board (CvB) and form the basis of the Fontys ICT annual calendar.
To keep all employees informed of deadlines, scheduled events, etc., the portal de List of data features a calendar listing all key events for the year, such as study days, award ceremonies, symposia, etc. These dates have been incorporated into an MS Outlook calendar named: fontysict-jaaragenda@fontys.nl. Each employee can select or make visible items as they wish. Fontys Information Provision & Technology (IT) has produced a guide for importing this calendar.
