The teaching and examination regulations of a study programme. The Dutch Higher Education and Research Act (WHW) stipulates that every study programme must have an TER. The Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER) contain all information about the content of the study programme and the assessment within the study programme. Here you will also find information about the admission requirements and the guidance that is offered.

There are also TER's for study programme variants that are currently being phased out2):
Every year, Fontys ICT publishes new versions of those TER's that, in principle, apply to all enrolled students of a study programme variant. However, these TER's usually contain transitional arrangements whereby students are referred to TER's from previous years for some components.
