Summary
Description of the purpose, tasks and responsibilities of the Manager II&A. The II&A department proactively makes proposals to the managing director and (Extended) Leadershipteam in the field of ICT resources.

Fontys ICT is changing from an educational institution into a talent-oriented, research-oriented and agile knowledge institution which contributes positively to a vital, inclusive and sustainable society: Fontys for Society. Fontys ICT wants to play a decisive role in this within Fontys. The II&A department proactively makes proposals to the management and the (Extended) Leadershipteam with respect to ICT resources.

The Manager II&A:

• is responsible for the allocation and working methods of the Fontys ICT IT service team so that IT support is state-of-the-art, matching Fontys ICT's ambition as an innovative and internationally-focused knowledge institute;
• in coordination with the IT architect, information manager and Operations Manager OOP, prioritises (in the CCB) and streamlines the work of the II&A team so that the agreed objective is achieved;
• gives - in coordination with the IT architect - strategic and tactical advice to the managing director and (Extended) Leadershipteam on ICT resources/requirements issues with a focus on the primary process: conducting high-quality education and research;
• Is the IT services contact point at tactical level for various stakeholders within the organisation such as managing director, operations managers, people managers (PM), fellow team managers and other employees within the teaching and support staff. He coordinates with central IT service department and other external parties;
• advises the Operations Manager OOP and responsible People Manager (PM) on future employee needs within the IT service team and you are involved in recruitment and selection;
• inspires and motivates the employees of the IT service team through courses, articles, and study programmes in the ICT field aligned with individual development and Fontys ICT's strategic goals.
