ISSD

Introduction

The ISSD is the ICT Student Service Desk and is part of the Team II&A. In the past, the ISSD started as a project by and for students who studied ITIL. Today, ISSD is the first line support (with a physical desk) for all Fontys ICT students and lecturers.

There are 3 locations where an ISSD is present. With 5 permanent employees, we ensure that they are open on time and that the right service is provided. We also employ 10 students who study at Fontys ICT, divided over the 3 locations. These often change per semester.

What does the ISSD do?

The ISSD is the first place to turn to for all kinds of questions and problems in the field of ICT in the study and working environment. It is important for us to ensure that you can get back to work quickly.

In addition, both students and staff can borrow items from the ISSD required for education. Consider robots, laptops, cameras, sensors, microcontrollers as well as cables and office equipment.

The Aura lending system can be accessed by students and staff. Here you can see the status of borrowed items, and view a catalog of materials.

With questions about materials for a project or event, please consult the ISSD.
