Tasks and responsibilities

  • Information (on mbo's, during open days, to mbo-starters at the beginning of their school year
  • Organizing HBO-ict traineeships
  • Allocation, finding teachers, arranging schedules, enrolling students, administration
  • Promotion (in addition to general information)
  • Facilitating customised courses (innovation routes)
  • Facilitate lecture internships for MBO lecturers
  • Setting out a long-term strategy
  • Evaluate and report (student evaluation and management report on effect of MBO-coordination)
  • Information provision to colleagues
  • Develop a script with activities for the purpose of transferability

Positioning

The position of MBO coordinator is an additional role belonging to the function of Lecturer. An MBO coordinator is appointed in the role by the managing director and the appointment is laid down in a management decision. The MBO coordinator is part of the team where he/she performs at least 50% of his/her (educational) tasks.
