Summary
A description of the purpose, tasks and responsibilities of a Project Leader Programme Development (PLOO).

Purpose

The objective of the role of a PLOO is to lead the (further) development of an unit of study (based on a development assignment), in such a way that the educational activities in that unit can then be carried out optimally.

Powers, tasks and responsibilities

  • With a team of colleagues, translates the educational vision and content into a didactic design, implementation, assessment and quality of education within the unit of study (OE), in consultation with UM, CE and the educational specialist;
  • Ensures meaningful coherence between the themes and related educational activities in the Unit of Study (OE);
  • Assembles a development team in consultation with the CE and organises the educational development of the unit of study (OE) as requested in the development task drawn up by the CE;
  • Considers and coordinates the development tasks and outputs with the development team;
  • Ensures that the education matches the learning outcomes of the development assignment and secures the final level of the unit of study;
  • Connects issues from Partners in Innovation and Education (PiI and PiE) and professors to this semester and involves them in education within the study programme and contributes to the annual evaluation together with the CE;
  • Is responsible for the further development of content in the (electronic) learning environment, materials, licences as well as information material;
  • Coordinates implementation aspects as a result of new developments with the PLOU and UM;
  • Coordinates with the PLOUs and PLOOs of the same unit of study insofar as different implementations are concerned (CB/DB/040/013, AD/BSs and Education for Professionals). This in consultation with the CE and UM.
  • Also (preferably) has an executive role in the development of the unit of study itself;
