Summary
Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) was of the 8 ambition themes of Fontys ICT in the FHICT Ambition Plan 2013-2017. This page describes the results of this theme during that project period. In addition, the relationship is indicated with the related theme in 2nd FHICT Ambition Plan #2023 Open Up Digital Excellence.

The result of 5 years working on the ambition theme has led to:

• Deployment and implementation Canvas
• Network TEL built up (TEL workgroup)
• Facilitating knowledge sharing (TEL Heroes)
• Mid-level Teaching Qualification (MKO) as a means of professionalisation of TEL
• Supporting initiatives in the field of gamification and flipping the classroom, among other things.

Within the 2nd FHICT Ambition Plan #2023 Open Up, there is a wider focus on ICT technology, via the theme Digital Excellence. This means we will have to develop instruments that are focused on supporting processes in a smarter way and achieving the targets sooner. Some of these processes include: research, learning, presentation, organisation, monitoring, collaborating and weighing (valuing). It will build on existing platforms, like Canvas and new platforms, apps and interfaces wil be developed. In this, the cooperation with EdTech partners is essential.
