Summary
Description of the purpose, tasks and responsibilities of the Location Manager.

Context

If Fontys ICT has the management of a Fontys building, the role of Building Supervisor will be performed by one of the operations managers (UM's) of that location. The Operations Manager is therefore also the Location Manager. The buildings that Fontys ICT manages are currently: R10 and TQ (both in Eindhoven) and P8 in Tilburg.

Purpose

Ensure proper utilisation and use of the buildings in coordination with Fontys H&F Services and other building and campus occupants.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensuring a sufficient number of Emergency response personnel (BHV-ers) (in consultation with the BHV coordinator);
  • Coordination with the Fontys H&F Services about their services in the building;
  • Consultation with other users of the location on all matters for which this is necessary, such as activities that may cause nuisance and (temporary) exchange of spaces;
  • Agreeing on opening hours. Approve closing or opening the building other than as scheduled via the Fontys annual calendar or weekly schedule;
  • Coordinate with other users on campus matters;
  • Making proposals to the Fontys ICT Manager Support for new investments related to building and accommodation.

Powers

  • Powers appropriate to the role in the crisis team;
  • Deciding on coordination with co-users of a location;
  • Deciding on the opening hours of the building;
  • Allocate spaces within the buildings to the Operations Manager (UM).
