Admission Examination 21+
Summary
From the age of 21 it is possible to take an entrance test if you don't have the required prior education to be admitted to a study programme with Fontys. This page explains how to do this.
Introduction
A candidate student older than 21 years who does not meet the educational requirements, may (under Article 2(6) of the TER) be exempted from the educational requirements on the basis of an admission examination. The admission examination concerns an adaptive ability test and a language test. The conditions and criteria are listed in Article 2 paragraph 6 of the TER.
Continuation
If the prospective student meets the standards, he can be enrolled. If needed the Student Desk will prepare a 'collo'1). A failed 21+ admission examination can be retaken after one year. The result of a passed 21+ entrance examination remains valid for five years. No exemption will be granted from the 21+ admission examination on the basis of 21+ admission examinations or intellectual ability tests taken elsewhere.
