Rules for taking oral tests

Summary
Rules relating to the course of affairs concerning oral tests.


Presence

  • The student must be present at the room no later than 5 minutes before the start of the oral test;
  • The duration of the oral test will be mentioned in the in the Fontys ICT Programme Guide or the relevant Canvas course or agreed upon in time.


Rules of Conduct

  • The student is obliged, if requested, to identify himself at any oral test by means of a valid identification document (not a student card);
  • Toilet visits should be limited as much as possible. Only after permission from the examiner may a student use the toilet;
  • During tests, the student is not allowed to communicate in any way with fellow students or to exchange tools, papers, drawing materials etc.;
  • The student may only use tools as mentioned in the semester guide. He has to get these ready before the test starts;
  • During the tests, mobile phones and other means of communication are switched off and stored in the bag. Mobile phones and other means of communication shall not be visible. Technological tools necessary for the oral test should not be used to communicate;
  • The student must carry out the oral test independently without the support of others;
  • The student should follow examiners' instructions;
  • If other (additional) rules are applicable, these are mentioned in the semester guides.
